9. Volunteer Co-ordinator Role Description

VOLUNTEER CO-ORDINATOR

Main Purpose:

To recruit and co-ordinate members and non-members who volunteer at the club

Key Tasks:

• Work closely with the HC committee to establish and identify volunteer requirements at the club
• Raise awareness of opportunities for volunteers and volunteering within the club
• Work to recruit, recognize and retain those who volunteer for and on behalf of the club
• Liaise with the HC committee on training requirements for volunteers.
• Be aware of the club’s policy on Safeguarding and Protecting young people in hockey.
