8. Webmaster Role Description

Webmaster – Valuable Voluntary Work Experience

A very valuable work experience opportunity, to run the club’s website, has arisen at Doncaster Hockey Club.

Up to 6 hours a week voluntary time would be the minumum number of hours needed to fullfill the role.

Main Purpose:
To work with the club committee and a team of volunteers to collect material and maintain the Club’s website covering the playing of hockey and management of the club.

Key Tasks:
• Ensure the availability and high quality of the website
• Ensure security on the website
• Recommend any changes to the website
• Work with the club committee and other volunteer members to provide content.
• Ensure that website content provided is uploaded within 2 days.
• Respond to adhoc technical queries and support requests.
