League Context
Doncaster head into a massive double-header weekend with the opportunity to strengthen their push at the top end of the table. Sitting just behind the leading pack, six points across the weekend could see them move firmly into second place and close the gap on leaders York.
Confidence is high following last weekend’s 1–0 win over Sheffield Bankers, and with momentum building, Doncaster will be targeting two strong performances away from home despite difficult weather conditions expected across both fixtures.

Lindum currently sit one place above Doncaster, level on points but ahead on goal difference. This rearranged fixture gives Doncaster an immediate opportunity to leapfrog their rivals and move into second place. Doncaster’s return to the regular schedule sees them travel to Harrogate just 24 hours later. Managing energy levels and squad rotation will be key, but confidence remains high within the group. Harrogate always provide a tough test, especially on home turf, but Doncaster will be aiming to maintain their momentum and secure maximum points across the weekend.

• Charlotte — fresh from scoring the winning goal last weekend and continuing to offer an attacking threat.
• Jay — outstanding in midfield recently, providing leadership, control, and driving the team forward.

A six-point weekend would be a huge statement from Doncaster as they continue their push towards the top of the table. With confidence high and strong performances building week by week, this double-header could play a major role in shaping the final stages of their season.

The first home game of 2026 sees Doncaster welcome Didsbury to The JSM for Saturday night action in the North Conference. We love a Super Saturday night game, and are looking forward to playing in front of a packed crowd at 6:30pm.
We have a great relationship with Didsbury, having played them numerous times in the North Conference in recent years - a very warm welcome to Graeme, Alex & everyone associated with Didsbury HC.
While we are in a results business and the Ben Rhydding game didn’t go as planned, it was
actually a performance that we can be proud of with plenty of positives coming out of the game - we certainly deserved more and will be looking to take the good bits from last week into this weekend and most importantly, secure the 3 points.
The lads will be working hard this week to ensure we’re in as good a shape as possible to do the business on Saturday night. Best of luck to everyone representing our club over the weekend, and we’ll hope to see plenty of you on Saturday night.
