It’s derby day this Saturday as Doncaster travel to Sheffield Bankers for a huge Yorkshire & North East Premier Division clash!
Doncaster sit 4th on 7 points, just one point ahead of Bankers in 5th. Following last weekend’s convincing 2–0 victory over Leeds, Doncaster head into the fixture full of confidence and looking to secure another three points.
With a full-strength squad available once again, competition for places remains high, and the attacking options are looking stronger than ever.
There’s also positive news for Bea R, who has entered the rehabilitation phase of her recovery from a broken foot, with hopes of returning before Christmas.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Annabelle R — looking increasingly dangerous up front and surely due a goal, potentially with one of her trademark reverse-stick strikes!
Lucy H & Evie B — the captain is looking strong in midfield, developing an excellent partnership with Evie and providing real quality through the middle.
Ellie O & Jay N — part of an exciting forward line that will be looking to cause Bankers plenty of problems.
Liv J — always a goal threat, and Doncaster will be hoping the Australian can strike early to set the tone.
With both teams looking to establish themselves amongst the league’s leading sides, this promises to be another competitive local derby.
A big derby. A strong squad. Three points up for grabs.
Come down and support Doncaster as we look to claim all three points!
COME ON DONCASTER!

Durham University 2 v M1[/b]
Competition: Men's National League Conference North
Date: Sunday 11th October 14:00
Venue: AWAY Durham

The men’s 1st team travel to Durham on Sunday the 11th looking to convert the good performances into points.
After the disappointment of last week’s result the men’s, side are looking to bounce back against a strong Durham side. It should be a closely contested game with plenty for the neutral to enjoy.
The clash presents an opportunity for Doncaster to showcase their quality, build momentum and make the most of their home advantage. Doncaster will be keen to start strongly and put Durham under pressure from the opening whistle.
With both sides sitting within a point of each other in the table, it should see two sides looking to come away with an important 3 points and kick start their seasons.
