Doncaster Hockey Club is saddened to learn of the death of Paul Dodds.

Paul was Captain of School Hockey at Doncaster Grammar School in the 1980/81 season. A talented defender Paul represented Yorkshire and North East schoolboy as well as establishing himself in Doncaster Hockey Club's 1st and 2nd teams whilst still at school.

After studying at Hull University, Paul moved south where he continued his involvement in hockey as a highly regarded umpire.

The club passes on its condolences to Paul's family, especially brother Lee, who also played for the club.
