Read a round up of the weekends ladies’ results.

The first team ended their season with a tight affair at the JSM Arena where they held, third place, Cambridge to a point to finish their campaign in seventh.
Despite a loss against Harrogate, the second team remain in the Yorkshire Women's First Division as they finished four points above the drop zone.
With relegation already confirmed, the third team put on a positive display at the JSM Arena to close out their season, as they beat Leeds.
At Armthorpe, the fourth team had to settle for a point against Doncaster Independence.

L1 0-0 Cambridge City
L2 2-3 Harrogate
L3 2-1 Leeds
L4 2-2 Doncaster Independence

L2: The last game of the season was at home against Harrogate 2s, starting off spritely, scoring within the first 7 minutes to take the lead. Harrogate are no push over and got themselves back into the game to draw level. We then applied a lot of forward pressure to regain the advantage, however lost out due to turnovers and after a quick counter went 2 -1 down. This did not stop the ladies from playing, looking to score an equaliser and potential winner, continued to work and press hard, seeing several opportunities saved and short corners defended resolutely. Again during one of these sustained periods of pressure, we lost the ball deep in Harrogate’s half, only to see it quickly end up in our net after a quick break, although the ladies worked hard to recover in an attempt to stop it happening. Again we pressed forward and finally in the final minute gained a second goal from a direct strike from a final short corner. The ladies put in an excellent shift and I feel should have got something from the game. The ladies ended up finishing safe in the league in 9th position in a tightly contested lower league section. Good development and progress over the season. Well done!

L3: The last game of the season for the ladies 3s but also last game for Doncaster for some of our players who will definitely be missed next season. Straight from the start Leeds came out strong giving our defence some work to do but we held firm. A break from Doncaster gave us the lead with a goal from Connie. Both teams battled for the ball with a couple of breakaways from Leeds with no goals. Doncaster break again and Ella scores. Just before halftime Leeds have a break and unfortunately score making it 2-1 at halftime. Second half both teams battled for the ball with breakaways from both teams but no goals. Full time score 2-1 to Doncaster. A Great end to a season.
