I thought all the kids had great games, they all put in 100 per cent, there was some great leads for the ball and some well worked play that resulted in two cracking goals and a clean sheet!
Thanks to the parents for their encouragement and support on the side line (expect for heckling me), and thanks to Barbara Bellerby for doing the thankless job of running the bench.

Doncaster U10G B
Brilliant performance today from the u10 girls B team. Playing 5, winning 3, drawing 1 and losing 1.
Only conceding 2 goals all day! This is a big complement to Anya (an under 8!) in net and Emmie who played every match in defence alongside Philippa, Iris and Alana. All these girls also moved into midfield at different times throughout the tournament, proving to be strong in both defence and attack. Philippa also chipped in with a couple goals! Scarlett and Haidee were constant threats on goal and both managed to get goals and assists. Arabella (another under 8!) literally covered every inch of the pitch, going on brilliant runs and looking very confident in her play, this was backed up with a couple of goals and assists.
The most important thing of all, every girl looked to be having plenty of fun, big smiles on their faces and lots of laughing along the way!

Well done to the girls who played T3 - really impressed with some of the play and defending also didn’t give up. 5-1 loss overall with two drawn periods against an older more experienced team. Evie got player of the game from Sheffield players and thanks to the u14s who helped out Lilian and Esther rocks at the back and Lily with a standout GK performance.
