The Dev team that travelled to Sheffield yesterday once again put a great shift in.
We played an older side of youngsters that had a lot of talent, with plenty of skill.
We ended up 2-0 down but feel with a touch more experience could have won the game.
Development hockey at Doncaster is great place for kids to stretch their legs on a big pitch and we value the help of the parents so much!

A hard fought battle against a strong Wakefield team. All of the youngsters worked hard and some good defending prevented defeat. Sadly we were unable to convert our chances into goals.

U10

U10BT1 - YYHL @ Wakefield
Under 10 boys (and girl). We drew one, lost two and ended on a high with a win.
For once it wasn't raining and performances improved as we went through the matches. Losing matches is all part of playing a competitive sport and it is all about how the kids react to those losses and play the next match that is important.
It was pleasing to see the determination in the last game despite the previous two losses and that teamwork resulted in a 1-0 victory.
Well done boys and Hannah, you kept up the positivity right until the end.

U10B T2 - YYHL @ Doncaster

The u10 boys B team today at Doncaster were fantastic!
8 kids running hard and developing their skills.
We won 1 game 4-2 and drew one 1-1. Then one loss to Sheffield.
Amazing 6yr old Olive stepped up to play in goal and was brilliant.
