Well done!, a 1-0 win against, Sheffield Bankers as we go into the Xmas break.
Once again we met a side whose juniors were on average older and taller, but support from George H and Tom S meant we competed well.
A clean sheet for Lilly! A great defensive performance and on the whole we attacked well.
Player of the match nabbing the only goal was Alvi, most improved was W Cambell, also getting lots of votes was Meghan!
Goon of the game was rightfully awarded to George H.

Sunday 14th December

U12G T2 v Thirsk

U14 girls T2 took on unbeaten Thirsk at DHC - as Thirsk were one short we loaned a player to them in the festive spirit.
The girls started well in the first quarter and dominated possession with neat passing resulting in a 3-0 lead with goals from Grace 2 and Quinn .
Second period we rotated some players and Thirsk upped their game - Donny kept on top and increased their lead to 5-1 with Grace completing her hat trick and Phoebe scoring
For the third period we rotated again with Rain going as forward and as planned by the coaches this worked with Rain scoring . Thirsk caught us on the break so 6-2
A further rotation in the 4th period and with both teams now looking tired the period fizzled out with no goals.
Great workout for all the players and really impressed with the teamwork on and off the pitch.
