D2
SUBHC v Doncaster D2
0 : 3
Last Saturday’s development game away at Sheffield Bankers saw us deliver another brilliant performance for the second week running! Despite the changeable weather and old-school pitch, we pressed from the front, maintained a fantastic shape throughout, and worked hard to win the ball back and support each other. Communication was improved, and the work rate was excellent from start to finish. Two goals from Nicholas, one in each half, and a sublime finish from Evie F, which was destined for the net the moment it left her stick, secured a convincing 3-0 away win. We could have added even more with the number of short corners we won! It was particularly pleasing to see our performance remain so strong that, for the final 5–10 minutes, we had only one playing adult on the pitch. A fantastic team effort all round!
Next week: We have Sheffield at home and Chesterfield away. Please get your names down in the app and select your preferred fixture. Well done, everyone!

Away
Bowden v [b]Doncaster U16G[/b
3 : 2
The girls travelled across to Bowdon on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
The first half Bowdon went 2/0 up but also incurred 2 green cards. Just before half time Louisa Reynolds scored a great goal from open play giving a half time score of 2/1.
The cards continued in the second half with 2 for DHC and 2 for Bowdon (very keen umpires).
Bowdon scored again in the 60th minute to go 3/1 up. The Donny girls continued to battle being awarded a short corner in the 63rd minute. Following a pass from Quinn, Ruby tapped the goal in to bring the score back up to 3/2.
A pleasing result after last week’s 8/0 defeat but also considering a lot of the girls were on their 3rd or 4th game of the weekend!
Thank you to parents for all their driving and support too

Harrogate v Doncaster U18B EH Cup 1st Round

A great battling display by ALL the boys . The 1st quarter set the tone with solid defensive performances, good passing and movement taking an early 3-0 lead with goals from Caige Lewis on 9 minutes, Aidan Hsu 11 mins and Zac Hall from a short corner on 15 minutes. The 2nd quarter saw Doncaster extend that lead with the midfield controlling the game. Sam Hooper 18 mins and Rhys Macphee 23rd minute pouncing on GK rebounds .
Half time 5-0.
C Lewis got his deserved 2nd goal deflecting a cross into the box. Aidan Hsu scored his 2nd goal after dribbling into the D to put Doncaster 7-0 up on 54 minutes. Harrogate rallied for the final 15 minutes scoring twice in the 55th and 63rd minutes reminding the Doncaster boys that it’s important to keep playing right till the final whistle.
