Impressive Opening Victory and Milestone Moment for Tomo Wheeldon

England's U18 boys have kicked off their campaign at the England Hockey 6 Nations tournament in Czechia with a resounding triumph. Tomo Wheeldon and Ben Pickles (both from Doncaster Hockey Club), representing the squad, travelled to compete on the international stage, joined by Max Davidson who is officiating as an umpire for the event. Their dedication and teamwork were on full display as the team delivered a commanding 5-0 win over Ireland in their first match.

The match proved to be a memorable one for Tomo, who celebrated his first international goal—a significant milestone in his young career. The squad's unity and focus have set an excellent tone for the tournament, and their confident start will be crucial as they prepare to face a well-drilled French side later this morning. The England U18 boys are showing outstanding commitment both on and off the pitch, aiming to build on their early momentum as the 6 Nations continues.

Matches are being live streamed for supporters of the lads to follow their progress.
