The opening minutes were dominated by relentless French attacks, but England responded by taking control and leading the first half with a 2-0 advantage. The French side regrouped in the third quarter, levelling the score at 2-2 as the match entered its final stages. In the dying moments, England dug deep and secured victory through a decisive last-minute flick, clinching the game 3-2.
Today brought another high-pressure encounter as England’s Under-21 squad faced the Czech team. The Czechs started strongly, quickly establishing a 3-1 lead. England rallied, with a superb penalty flick save sparking renewed determination. The match intensified, culminating in a dramatic equaliser from England during the final seconds. Although England ultimately lost 3-2 in the shuffles, their consistent performance ensured they finished top of the league and secured a place in tomorrow’s final against Spain.
