Build for the Future

Build for the Future

Doncaster Hockey Club launches ‘Build for the Future’ Lottery to raise funds for pitch replacement.

As part of its medium-term strategy, Doncaster Hockey Club is taking steps to secure the future of hockey in the region by launching the Build for the Future Club Lottery. The aim is to raise funds towards the essential replacement of the pitch by 2029 ensuring future generations have a high-quality facility to play, train, and grow.

With the cost of a new pitch projected to reach £300,000 to £350,000 we have been saving putting aside £20,000 per year. But despite this strong effort, there remains a significant funding gap of around £100,000. That’s where the Build for the Future initiative comes in offering the community a unique opportunity to support the club and potentially win big in the process.

How the Lottery Works:

£10 per month enters supporters into a monthly draw.
Over 20 prizes each month, including a £25,000 jackpot.
£6 of every £10 goes directly to Doncaster Hockey Club’s pitch fund.
Every member receives a FREE Gourmet Society Membership (RRP £5.99/month), with discounts on dining, cinema, days out and more.

Club Chair Spencer Fearn commented:

“This is a major milestone in our journey to secure the long-term future of our club. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved on and off the pitch in recent years, but now we’re calling on our incredible community of players, parents, alumni, local businesses and supporters to help us reach the next level. This lottery is more than just a fundraiser; it’s a chance for everyone to be part of something meaningful and potentially win some fantastic prizes along the way.”
