On a hot day over 60 children from Under 10s - U16s sections came together in 8 mixed teams to play over 18 mini matches.
As those children had a well earned lunch break the U8s also had their own competitive match assisted by 2 of our brilliant u16 Coaches, Victoria and Eleanor.

Before the day continued, the highly awaited raffle was drawn with most of the prizes donated by you parents.
Throughout the day Pam Bate, Emma Campbell & Barbara sold cakes and second hand kit.

The older children were not to be dissuaded by the hot weather and took part in more matches in the afternoon.
Relief and shrieks of joy came as the pitch sprinklers were deployed.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped in any way (donating some amazing raffle prizes/cakes/kit, running those stalls, organising the teams, umpiring, marshalling the children). As we always say, this club's foundations are built on a solid base of marvellous volunteers.

Thanks to parents who supported by bringing the children and parting with cash!! You will be pleased to know the efforts with match fees, cakes, kit and raffle raised a whopping £914!!

Winners of the trophy were Lucas Leopards but really we were all winners, what a great day!
