Hockey fever is about to return to Doncaster as the countdown reaches its final stage for the annual Andy Gibson Foundation Pre-Season Tournament at Doncaster Hockey Club.

With just 24 hours to go, anticipation is building ahead of a fantastic weekend of hockey action. The tournament kicks off on Saturday 30th August with a full day of Men’s fixtures, followed by Women’s matches on Sunday 31st August. Teams from across the region will go head-to-head in a competitive pre-season showcase that promises plenty of goals, skill, and excitement.

Spectators are encouraged to come down and support the event, which is free to attend. Alongside the action on the pitch, the famous pitch-side barbecue and refreshments will be running all weekend, creating a brilliant family-friendly atmosphere.

This much-loved tournament is a key highlight of the Doncaster Hockey Club calendar – celebrating the legacy of Andy Gibson while bringing together players, families, and the wider hockey community for two days of sport and friendship.
