Whitley Bay & Tynemouth were the next destination for Doncaster who were hoping to continue their strong run of form and pick up some more points.
It was the hosts who started proceedings well and put the Doncaster defence under pressure from the start. Doncaster managed to keep the Whitley attack out for the first nine minutes only to see Whitley break the deadlock following a well worked attack.
The remainder of the half saw both sides create chances but neither being clinical infront of goal so the advantage went to Whitley going into the interval.
Following the break Doncaster had and early opportunity only to be denied and Whitley broke well playing the ball into the circle from 30 yards, the ball took an unfortunate defelection off the newly introduced Doncaster keeper Alex Moon and found its way into the net. This doubled the hosts advantge with 32 minutes to play.
Doncaster attacked well again and were finally awarded in the 49th minute when the ball found its way to Alice Courtney at the top of the Whitley circle which she finished clinically. With twnety minutes to play Doncaster piled on the pressure but couldn't break the Whitley defence again who held strong to maintain their lead and take the points.
Doncaster host Beeston next time hoping to get some more points on the board.
