Doncaster HC are pleased to announce that on the 7th January 2020 the club will be hosting the touring juniors from Wanderers Australia to our club.
This is the first time in 20 years of touring that the Australians have visited a team in Yorkshire so it is really exciting and a privilege that they have selected our club to visit whilst on their tour of Europe ahead of other teams in the region.
There will be 3 teams of U17 Boys - U17 Girls and U15 Girls from Doncaster and each team will play two 25 minute games on the night against their counterparts from Wanderers Australia so 3 hours of hockey. (Team managers will be in touch with players selected shortly for these matches). Matches are planned to start at 5pm and end around 8pm.
This will be an amazing night for the club and a great chance for our players to test their skills against players from Australia and afterwards will have chance to socialize with them at an after game function at The Regent Hotel.
