Men's First Team Preview:
The last home game of the season as Doncaster welcome Ben Rhydding to Town Fields in the North Conference. The day promises to be extra special as we host the fourth renewal of Andy’s Lunch: an occasion where we’re delighted to welcome former players and members to raise money for a great cause.
The reverse fixture saw us lose out by the odd goal in 3, so we’re looking to put a few things right this weekend in front of what promises to be a strong crowd. Last week’s win against Leeds did hand the title to Timperley, but keeps the race for second place alive. 3 points this weekend will put us right in the mix for a podium finish to back up last season’s efforts.
The under-18 cup charge also follows our game, with a number of lads who have featured for the Men’s 1XI this season representing a really strong junior side. I’m sure they’ll get ample support for their game vs Telford following (hopefully) 3 points for us.
This weekend’s game always matters a little bit more as we remember someone who was so significant at Doncaster HC. A huge thanks to everyone coming out an supporting a great cause as well as the latest edition of Doncaster’s National League side.
