The first team ended their impressive season away at Timperley where they were on the wrong end of an eleven goal thriller.
A win for the second team meant that they end up in third place, three points short of promotion.
Also finishing in third, the fourths picked up a victory against Leeds Adel.
Unfortunately, the fourth team came up short against Chesterfield meaning they can no longer gain promotion.
A draw against Chesterfield means that the fifth team will play one division higher next season as they gained promotion from the YNE Peak Men's First Division.

M4: Every game is a must win for the 4s, and going into this fixture away at Chesterfield the 4s needed to repeat the result of 2 weeks earlier to reduce the goal difference between them and Lindum 4s.
If Lindum were to win and the 4s were to win versus Chesterfield by a hefty scoreline, then the outside chance of promotion would remain for a further week.
The 4s started well, and took the lead after 7 mins. An interception near the halfway line found its way to Carey-Reeves near the centre spot, who passed it out wide to Lockwood. Glasby pulled the defender wide, creating a channel through to Tom Brown in the D. Lockwood fired the ball to Brown, whose deft deflection took the ball passed the defender to Jessop, whose first time shot beat the keeper.
Perhaps Doncaster thought this was going to be an easy game, but they took the foot of the gas, and complacency started to creep in.
2 16-hits nearly provided assists for the Chesterfield forward line, but Badger Brown redeemed himself for his faux pas.
The remainder of the half proved to be end to end, but Doncaster were wasteful and couldn't extend their lead. Chesterfield were unlucky not go into half-time level.
Half time 0-1 to the visitors.
At this stage Doncaster were content to settle for a win regardless of scoreline and started the 2nd half well with good play down the right the ball was pulled back and regretfully Jessop missed a holden opportunity to double the lead and create some breathing space.
From that moment on the wheels well and truly came off!
Chesterfield found an equaliser.
Badger was asked by the umpires to have a rest getting a green for what can only be described as a rugby tackle.
Adamson, who had been solid at the back, took an unfortunate knock to the knee, which brought an end to his game.
Chesterfield then had a breakaway and scored a second.
Carey-Reeves then got his 3rd green in consecutive games following a naughty tackle from behind on him, the offending player getting a green and Carey-Reeves getting one of his own for excessive language and appealing for a card (that is what Umpire said when asked what the card was for).
Doncaster tried to get an equaliser but alas could not find one despite short corners and good openings.
Final score 2-1 and a defeat that means, coupled with Lindum 4s winning, the rearranged game versus Barnsley on 6 April is now a dead rubber, and the 4s will finish 3rd in the league.
On a plus side it was good to see many of the players that had played for the 4s coming to the end of season beer and pizza night at the club, joined by some of the 5s and 3s.
Personally, I have never seen 10 large pizzas disappear so fast. Some would argue that maybe we should be that fast on the pitch.

M5: The Men's 5ths concluded their league season with a 1-1 home draw vs 4th placed Sheffield 6ths.

The game started late of its 5pm schedule and with a raw cold wind, more than a few were hoping to get in the club house! However, the game was played in good spirits with both teams enjoying the outcome.
Doncaster possibly started the slower of the 2 teams with chances hard to come by. Mid-way through the half, the 5ths were more dominant, with chances falling to Sam at PC situations. The Sheffield keeper was up to the task however. H/T 0-0.

The 2nd half started much the same as the first but with Sheffield carrying slightly more threat and they went in front from a well-struck PC.
The 5ths hit back following a PC move that Caige deflected over the diving keeper.
It was an even game thereafter, with notable performances from Ollie working hard in midfield and Caige up front, however there was no further score
The 5ths finish the season in a very credible 3rd place just behind Worksop and Rotherham 2's. This means the 5th will play in a higher league in next season's new structure.
