First team match previews:

Ladies

The ladies welcome Leeds to the John Marshall arena. Since our last home game we visited Whitley bay and unfortunately found ourselves on the wrong end of the 1-0 score line. The ladies have been playing some good hockey and hope to continue that in the game against Leeds and come away with 3 points.

Men's

Super Saturday is back with both the Ladies and Men’s 1XI ready to host Yorkshire rivals, Leeds HC. Both clubs know each other fairly well and a special welcome to former DHC hero, Carl Smith, who will be coaching the Leeds Men’s side. The reverse fixture earlier on in the season was probably one of the most frustrating ones we’ve had - we went in front but Leeds absolutely worked us out and executed their game plan to perfection, and we were well beaten in the end. This time around we’ll be trying to put things right and we’ll have every chance under the lights with a packed side-line down at the JSM Arena. A hard fought win on the road last week tees us up perfectly to hopefully go back-to-back in the North Conference. The lads have put one hell of an effort up this season and we’re going to keep pushing as we run into the home stretch of the campaign.
