Fundraising

Can you help us to keep our fantastic astroturf pitch in great shape for many more years to come? Please support us and share with friends and family ?

The Hockey Club has approximately £80,000 in it's pitch fund which has been accumulated over the last 10 years. To achieve the remaining costs of the pitch refurbishment we will be making funding applications and seriously fundraising!

We are aiming to raise £50,000 by selling 5027 square meters of the turf at £10 each. You can, of course, buy as many squares as you wish and for each square purchased your name will be entered into a prize draw at the end of the season to win prize worth at least £250. You won’t own the square but your name will appear on signage at the pitchside showing the names of everyone who has supported this project..

Our Hockey Club is always active in raising funds for our facilities, not just our pitch but our bar and clubhouse and changing facilities.

We undertake a number of fund raising activities including hockey fest and social events:
- Xmas Cheese and Wine
- New years Eve
- Junior Presentation Eveneing
- Annual Dinner and Dance

We apply to a number of grant bodies and actively seek sponsors for the club and of individual ladies and men's 1st team players.
