Beeston win with a flattering scoreline!!

Beeston were the next team to visit Town Fields hoping to maintain their good start to the season. Doncaster were also hoping to get something from the game following a disappointing defeat at Whitley Bay in the previous game.

Beeston didn't take long to take control of the game passing the ball around nicely and making the Doncaster players work hard from the start. Despite their strong start it was the hosts who had the first real chances of the encounter forcing a couple of nice saves out of the Beeston goalkeeper.

Although Doncaster had the first couple of chances it was the viitors who broke the deadlock in the 11th minute. The ball struck nicley from the top of the cirlce beating the Doncaster defence and taking the lead. Over the next ten minutes Doncaster had a couple of breaks but it was Beeston who continued to boss proceeding being awarded a short corner which they finished well to take a 2-0 lead.

From the restart Doncaster again pressed but lost the ball. Beeston broke away and piled even more pressure on the in form Doncaster defence. They managed to break through the Doncaster defence in the 26th minute to take a 3-0 lead. Despite the scoreline Doncaster weren't put off and continued to press their guests whenever the opportunity arrose. Doncaster were the next team to be awarded in the 32nd minute when Alice Courtney put the ball into the Beeston goal to cut their three goal advantage to two going into the break.

Following the interval it was Doncaster who started the second half the stronger of the two sides, starting off where they left off in the first. Doncaster created some great chances and were unfortunate not to awarded for their efforts. Beeston absorbed the pressure well and finally broke through into the Doncaster half in the 42nd minute to restore their three goal lead.

Again Doncaster continued their spirited deisplay and created more chances but were running out of steam. Beeston capitalised in the dying minutes scoring two late goals to eventually win the game 6-1.

Doncaster showed great spirit throughout the 70 minutes and will be taking a lot of positives away from this for their coming fixtures.
